Welcome to the NFLCC monthly photo contest,

The recurring photo contests have been created to further highlight, educate and bring awareness to the various manufactures, types of collectibles and variation of lures within our hobby.

The contests will be held monthly, highlighting a variety of collectibles and will be judged by you, the audience.

Our May contest will be dedicated to highlighting the Creek Chub Bait Company (CCBCO).

We encourage all NFLCC members and collectors alike to participate in our contests and follow the following rules:

Contest limit of 5 individual entries (Pictures/Photos) per person
3 votes per unique user
Pictures must be submitted by the 20th of every month
Voting starts after the 20th until the end of the month
Votes will be tallied and winners announced at the start of the next contest
All pictures submitted must be 2 MB or less

TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY / ENTRIES: Reply to this message and use our uploading feature. This message & all replies will remain at the top of the message board for the duration of the contest. Be sure to include First AND LAST names & valid email with your post or your entry will be disqualified.

TO VOTE: Watch for a 2nd sticky post to appear on the 20th of each month right below this message. Just reply to that message with up to three (3) VOTES. Include the names and picture number or description with your voting message.

Feedback, questions, comments and suggestions are appreciated and can be sent to NFLCC-PICTURES@OUTLOOK.COM.

Thank you,

Michael Butler, NFLCC, IL.

Reflections. Not the best picture taker and lures are in their cases. Reflection show picture of Paw Paw lure stand behind me. Well...known for collecting CCBCO lures in Silver Flash...thought I would share a case containing three rare specials. Chautauqua Special in Brilliant Greenback, along with a 2209 Midget Pikie special in Brilliant Greenback, and one extremely rare one to find...a 609 Husky Musky in Brilliant Greenback (non-wire through). Don't expect to win but wanted to share. Oh. Here is one of my many walls loaded with my Creek Chub Silver Flash collection.

Here's a set of 4 lures made by Creek Chub for retail by the Southwestern Tackle Co of Texas 1940s-50s. Upper left has been called a "Dingbat Wiggler" prototype (Harold Smith's book), upper right is a Roundnosed Runt type with a Shur Strike lip, and the bottom two are mice.

Yup. That's Pete on the avatar at the NFLCC Region 1 Show in Albany, New York, 2015. Sorry buddy. I couldn't resist.

This is Les Ozimkowski, helping a good friend and fellow New Yorker, Pete Bernhart ,show off some of his world-class Creek Chub Castrolas. You probably know Pete for his ridiculously-comprehensive South Bend Bass-Oreno collection, but the Castrola has been one his favorites for quite some time. Enjoy and VOTE FOR PETE!!
